Continuing Education Options

 What is DynamicHealth CE?

Nursing and Health Professionals using Dynamic Health to aid their clinical decisions are eligible to earn continuing education (CE) contact hours. When the clinicians access topics in Dynamic Health at the Point of Care they will be awarded 0.1 contact hours when they answer a knowledge-based question on the topic and another on the topic’s applicability to their practice.

Learning for this activity is based on a reflective process in which a health care professional 1) identifies a problem in practice, 2) accesses and reviews the content in search of an answer from Dynamic Health content, and 3) answers the clinical and practice questions related to their practice. Nurses and Health Professionals conducting structured online searching and learning may claim 0.1 Contact Hours for the documented completion of the three-step learning cycle. The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is the approving credentialing organization for the professional development offered in Dynamic Health by EBSCO Publishing, Inc.

 Activity Goal and Educational Objectives

The practice changing factor of this program is the integration of continuing education into daily clinical practice. This allows nurses to earn CE credits seamlessly with their daily practice As a result of this educational activity, the participant will be able to: (1) Access and apply best-evidence information that can enhance their knowledge and skills for patient care, (2) Engage in structured, self-directed reflection on the evidence, the question, and the application of information to a clinical case.
